Essence (she/her) is a rising star in comedy. You can catch her commanding the mic at a random bar or mesmerizing the audiences at venues such as Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas, and The Comedy Store in La Jolla as well as seizing opportunities at Mic Drop in San Diego, CA. She’s had the pleasure of sharing the stage with other well-known comedians such as Lisa Sundtedt, Mary Upchurch, Jay Reid, Jade Cada Pretta, and Jack Jr., to name a few.

Essence’s comedy draws from her wildly unique background: working in tech (nerd alert), being multi-racial, having a not-so-ideal relationship with her kids’ dad, a mother who was discreetly living her best life, social anxiety, and a full recovery from being a...let's just say, "stupid bi***.” Her stories are both relatable and just the right amount of outlandish that's guaranteed to keep the party going and you laughing.
